About Groom's Appliance, Heating, and Cooling
Welcome to Groom's Appliance, Heating and Cooling. We appreciate you taking your time to visit us and hope you find our site informative and helpful.
In the spring of 1986, with 10 years of repair experience and education, my wife Kelli and I established Groom's Appliance, Heating and Cooling. Growing up in Lee's Summit, we felt we knew the needs of the community, and we put our focus to offering old-fashioned customer service and fair pricing. With the loyalty and trust that our customers have given us, we have been fortunate to expand our services beyond the borders of Lee's Summit. We currently provide services to customers in Jackson and Cass Counties in Missouri and Johnson County in Kansas.
With our eye on the future we are pleased to introduce two new additions to Groom's Appliance, Heating and Cooling. Our nephew, Devin, joined us full time in December of 2002. He previously had worked with us on a part-time basis during summer breaks while in high school, and he also has experience selling appliances ranging from dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators etc. After attending college away for a semester Devin decided to come back to Lee's Summit, and was interested in going to technical school to learn the trade of repairing and servicing appliances, heating and cooling systems. He completed the certification program and has become a welcome addition to our company.
The second full-time addition that we have made to Groom's Appliance, Heating and Cooling is our son Chad. Chad has been my right hand for most of the last twenty years. I started this business when he was only five years old and he started going with me on jobs from the beginning. Over the years, he has worked full time summers and part time during high school and college. He attended Southwest Missouri State University, graduating in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Chad rejoined us after his college graduation as Manager of Groom's Appliance, Heating and Cooling. With his background in computers as well as business, he has come in and reorganized us to enable us to run the office more proficiently, as well as increasing the efficiency of our service technicians. Because of all the years Chad has spent with me while I was building the company, he knows the value of providing exceptional service, fair pricing and the importance of customer service.
We feel we can offer our customers the highest standard of service, and we are always looking for ways to improve on what we do. Our technicians attend the latest product training schools available to learn about new products being offered and the service concerns of existing products. With all the new technology coming into our industry, we feel we have the stability, education, and expertise to provide the highest quality of service to our customers.
